Romantic Restaurants

Tri-Valley's most romantic restaurants offer romantic atmosphere,  delicious food and wine for your engagement.  Be sure to call ahead to make arrangements for your proposal.  These restaurants can offer a special menu or dessert and the best seat in the house and make sure to your proposal is perfect.

The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards: This place is just special.  The award winning restaurant features American dishes, influenced by Italian, French and California cuisine paired with Wente Vineyards wine.  The dining rooms are warm and inviting and the location amongst Livermore Valley Wine Country can't be beat.

There is something for everyone this summer in Tri-Valley, California.  The hot summer nights are filled with activities cool enough for all.  A complete list of community activities and dates can be found on the Tri-Valley, California Convention & Visitors Bureau website .  Here are just a few of the highlights.

MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT:  The Concerts at Wente Vineyards (June 17 - September 21) offers a unique entertainment experience, by combining stellar performances by top-name headliners with the stunning ambiance of a spectacular vineyard setting.  Visitors and residents also enjoy Concerts in the Park, happening each month throughout Tri-Valley's five-city region.  Families and friends meet at local parks around the valley with their blankets and picnics, ready to enjoy the musical stylings of Bay Area artists.  Tri-Valley is also home to Livermore Valley Shakespeare Festival (July 8 - August 7),  a celebration of living literature performed among the vineyards at Concannon Vineyards.

Spring has sprung and the grass is green and getting greener. Time to hit the greens--and fairways, and the 19th holes. This is one of my favorite times of year. When days stretch longer and temperatures reach higher. Plenty of time and favorable weather to grind out a few holes of golf from among your daily grind. Napa and Sonoma valleys, while known for their obvious Viticultural attributes, are perhaps lesser appreciated for their golf courses. But the valleys are excellent places to pursue your golf passion. And there's always time to enjoy the world class wines as you count up your score.

The moderate climate and proximity to the California coastline means conditions are near-ideal from Spring to Fall.
