Press Release - The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance announces the launch of their new Trip Planner on pasowine.com which gives the wine enthusiast power to create customized itineraries that highlight the region's distinct offerings using web based technology. The Trip Planner makes it easy to search over 160 Wine Alliance member wineries and map out a wine tasting experience based on amenities, varietal, and the region's award-winning wineries.  The tool also incorporates the area's hospitality assets including restaurants, accommodations, and tour companies; making it a complete visitor resource when planning a trip to Paso Robles Wine Country.

"This Trip Planner addresses consumer needs for full service planning based on current technologies," said Jennifer Porter, Executive Director, Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance.  "There is no other wine region or entity that provides such a complete planning tool with the same customization and sharing capabilities that the Paso Robles Trip Planner offers."

Amenities such as certifiable sustainable, tours, pet friendliness, picnic areas and other accommodations are offered as search options along with cross reference capabilities so the user can refine their search according to the type of wine they enjoy.  Adding locations to an itinerary can be done from any page on pasowine.com that lists wineries or hospitality businesses, with a single click of the mouse.  Once an itinerary is built, the user can fine-tune by click-n-drag as well as add specific addresses for begin and end points.  Once the itinerary is complete, it can be shared via social media, printed, emailed and bookmarked.

With more galleries than any one city north of the Golden Gate Bridge - and just minutes from Dry Creek Valley - the charming town of Healdsburg offers sophisticated lodging, restaurants, and 22 art galleries all within walking distance. On April 27, the galleries extend their hours to welcome Passport guests to explore and meet local artists, while sipping Dry Creek Valley wines.

MENDOCINO COUNTY, CA -- Every January for the past thirteen years, Northern California's Mendocino County has been celebrating locally harvested Dungeness crab and award-winning wines from "America's Greenest Wine Region" with a festival that satiates the taste buds of foodies and oenophiles alike.

From gourmet, crab-themed dinners in four-star restaurants, to family-style cioppino feeds, to the ever popular Crab Cake Cook-off featuring local Mendocino chefs, this festival has something for everyone! And to wash down the abundance of crab, local winemakers will be pouring at winemaker dinners throughout the county and also at the official Wine Tasting Competition, held in conjunction with the Crab Cake Cook-off. Visitors will enjoy a multitude of dinners, tastings, demonstrations, excursions, events and lodging specials over the course of the ten days -- hosted by Visit Mendocino County, the Mendocino Coast Clinics, innkeepers, restaurants, wineries and more.

The 2012 festival takes place from Friday, January 20th - Sunday, January 29th. Some special highlights not to be missed include:

NAPA, Calif.-- Arts Council Napa Valley (ACNV) and the Napa Community Redevelopment Agency have announced the return of the Napa ARTwalk public sculpture tour. The 2nd ARTwalk, titled "Momentum: Art that Moves (Us)", will launch on October 19th 2011 and will be on exhibition through April, 2013.

Downtown Napa's first-ever interactive public art exhibition and tour first launched in July 2010, and received an unprecedented amount of local support and media attention. Due to the success of the inaugural exhibition, the 2nd Napa ARTwalk will feature 13 new sculptures (an increase from 10 in 2010), as well as last year's People's Choice winning sculpture, "Fish On", by artist Terrence Martin (pictured to the right). One of the most familiar pieces in the 2010 exhibition, "Fish On" is a metal sculpture of a largemouth bass; it will also remain on view until 2013 . Napa ARTwalk's 2011-13 new artists include: Marissa Carlisle, Andrew Ferrales, Eric Furman, Matt Gil, James Haire, Loren Madsen, Ulises Meza, Robin Murez, C.J. Rench, Patricia Vader and Jeff Zischke.

The Napa ARTwalk will give the public an opportunity to vote on favorite sculptures online at www.napaartwalk.org throughout the 18-month exhibition period. Tour brochures, featuring a sculpture map, will be available year round in several downtown locations, including: Napa City Hall, The Goodman Library, Napa Valley Welcome Center, Artists of the Valley Gallery, and the Napa City-County Library. 

(Glen Ellen, CA) - On April 17, 2010, Arrowood Vineyards & Winery will donate the proceeds of their tasting fees to the third annual Wine for Wheelchairs fundraising drive benefiting The Wheelchair Foundation. For the occasion the winery will be pouring a selection of newly released wines and a library vertical of the highly acclaimed 2001, 2002 and 2003 Réserve Spéciale Cabernet Sauvignon. During the daylong festivities a selection of artisan cheese will be served and the photography of local artist Megan Rhodes will be on display.

NAPA, Calif., - The Silverado Resort inNapa Valley is offering three-night Holiday Celebration packages for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays highlighted by dinners prepared by the resort's renowned executive chef.
