Are you a Zin lover? This robust wine has many followers and for good reason! The flavor profile of Zinfandel - jammy plums, blackberry, cherry and black pepper spice - make it a wonderful wine to enjoy on its own or paired with a variety of foods. Visit Sonoma County which is well known for producing excellent Zin wines. This wine tasting itinerary features Zin tastings at Dry Creek Vineyard, Hartford Family Winery, St. Francis Winery and Valley of the Moon.

Jean-Yves Thibaudet with the Russian National Orchestra
The mighty Russian National Orchestra, conducted by Carlo Montanaro, returns to Festival del Sole, launching the season's multifaceted Rachmaninoff anniversary celebrations with the celebrated Second Symphony. Festival favorite Jean-Yves Thibaudet presents Saint-Saëns' "Egyptian" Piano Concerto No. 5.

Sarah Chang and Jean-Yves Thibaudet with the Russian National Orchestra
Festival del Sole partners with the new Weill Hall at Sonoma State University's Green Music Center for a program featuring the Russian National Orchestra, with Sarah Chang performing Samuel Barber's popular Violin Concerto, and Jean-Yves Thibaudet in Saint-Saëns' "Egyptian" Piano Concerto No. 5, a rarely-performed gem. Carlo Montanaro conducts. (Concert is at Weill Hall at Green Center, Sonoma)
