V Marketplace is extending an invitation to visit their Christmas Holiday Open House. The specialty shops at V Marketplace want to help you enjoy the last shopping weekend before Christmas. On Saturday, December 20th from 1:00pm to 5:30pm the historic winery turned specialty shopping complex V Marketplace, will be full of merriment; complete with refreshments, door prizes, demonstrations, trunk shows and more.
As part of the festivities, merchants will be hosting artists and designers for the public to meet. Gallery 1870 will be hosting artists Takayuki Harada, Imre Buvary and Kay Geis. Ms. Geis, known for her charming miniatures, will paint a miniature from your favorite photograph. Standby and watch as she creates and completes the perfect gift for that special someone. Hansel & Gretel children's shop will be introducing 6 styles of the Adorable Girl Dolls, winner of the Top Toy Award of 2008 by Creative Child Magazine. Meet Emmy-winning host of Food Network's Easy Entertaining, Chef Michael Chiarello in the beautiful NapaStyle store from 2-3pm.
Grocery stores aren't the only businesses open this holiday season! See the attached list of wineries that will be open Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Also included are restaurants that will be open, and a sampling of places hosting New Year's Eve parties.
