Thanks for the summary. We'll use it for our guests at Brannan Cottage Inn. Only concern is that I think you "underestimated" the activities in Calistoga on July 4. The Silverado 4th of July Parade (starts at 11 on Lincoln Avenue) will have about 100 entries (floats, antique cars, music, dancers, horse groups, fire and emergency trucks, et al) and is definitely worth attending. Similarly, the fireworks show from the Fairgrounds (and visible throughout Calistoga) stands by itself in terms of quality, excitement, color and noise. They each deserve a separate description!
