April 7 -- Wild Mushroom Foray and Demo Lunch @ Relish

Join us for a tromp through the woods as we search for edible wild mushrooms with chef Elissa Rubin-Mahon. After our foray we will caravan back to the Relish Culinary Center where a four-course wild mushroom lunch awaits our arrival. April 9 -- Clash of the Sommeliers @ Farmhouse Inn

Farmhouse Wine Director Geoff Kruth has announced an exciting new format for the 2012 Farmhouse Wine Dinner Series: Clash of the Sommeliers. Top Sommeliers from all over the Bay Area will compete in pairing wines with four course menus featuring unique seasonal ingredients, with guests voting during each of four evenings.

April 11 - 15 -- Sonoma International Film Festival

The annual Sonoma International Film Festival promises to include new independent films from around the world. Film presentations at a variety of venues including the Historic Sebastiani Theatre on the Sonoma Town Plaza will include feature length narratives, documentaries, shorts and a student film program.

April 14 -- Pick of The Vine
Thirty-five premier Sonoma County wineries pour their award winning wines, and many of the county's finest purveyors of gourmet foods provide hors d'oeuvres and snacks, all accompanied by live music. Large live and silent auction of collectible and library wines, dinners, lodging, and much more. Benefits the Sonoma County Long term Care Ombudsman Program.

April 21 - 22 -- Sebastopol Apple Blossom Festival
The Annual Apple Blossom Parade is a delight for the entire family. Everything from school marching bands to dachshunds in costume will delight the youngest to the oldest. Sebastopol comes alive as the flower-adorned floats, high-stepping horses, march proudly down Main Street. The parade is Saturday at 10am. After the parade join us at the Festival in Ives Park/Sebastopol Veterans Memorial Bldg.
