Several hotels, restaurants, wineries and shops are offering discounts and specials. In addition, There are three great events and festivals happening the same holiday weekend. See below:

29th Annual Wine Harvest Celebration
The wineries of Livermore Wine Country have opened their doors Sunday, Sept. 5th and Monday, Sept 6th to celebrate the harvest. Come join the fun and enjoy music, food, arts & crafts and of course wine throughout wineries in Livermore Valley and at Robertson Park. Some wineries will even be offering complimentary vineyard tours and winemaking seminars. Tickets range in price from $10-$65 and can be purchased online.

145th Annual Scottish Highland Gathering & Games
Another great reason to visit Tri-Valley is for this popular event held Saturday, September 4th and Sunday, September 5th a the Alameda County Fairgrounds. Organized by the Caledonia Club of San Francisco, this event features athletic and cultural events, entertainment, and a wide range of Scottish dishes and regular food fare. Admission ranges from $10-$22 and kids 11 years old and younger are free!

Wente Vineyard's Day of Discovery Festival
Sip on estate grown wines and relax in a beautiful winery setting this Labor Day. On September 4th Wente Vineyards is hosting a special day of festivities including the beats of local Bay Area bands on three different stages, food, and wine. Come join the party! Tickets are $29 in advance and $35 at the door (kids 12 and under are free!)
