Build Your Own BLT
If the words "you had me at Burrata" strike a chord with you, you'll no doubt find plenty to fall in love with at the event's BLT extravaganza. Offering a spread of over 30 varieties of heirloom tomatoes (who knew there were so many!?), freshly baked breads, garden-grown basil, boutique salt tasting and Burrata station (ahem), this gastronomic tour de force looks to be a sweet feast. 'Wiches to be washed down with Hill Family wines, natch.
Saturday, September 11, 2-5pm @ Bardessono
Bloody Mary Brunch
Though Tomatoville weekend packages strike us as rather precious ($1,999 for 2 nights' accommodations, a case of wine and tix to all three days' events), those who stay overnight will wake to Sunday's Bloody Mary Brunch, where a trio of spicy tomato-fueled libations will be paired with Chef Sean O'Toole's seasonally inspired Farmer's Market Brunch. Fortified with these final cocktails, guests may just declare the tomato a finer fruit than the grape.
Sunday, September 12, 11:30am-2:30pm @ Bardessono
