Wilson Daniels Ltd. - a Napa-based sales and marketing organization with a bevy of big-name, international wine clients - has released a series of professional-caliber videos featuring the people and terroir behind its labels.  Filmed on location at the likes of Royal Tokaji in Hungary, Domaine Leflaive in Burgundy and Champagne Salon in, you guessed it, Champagne, the videos encompass such lush vineyard and winery shots as to tempt even the most travel-weary among us to book a flight and go check these famed spots out in person, stat.
The Lush Life
Wilson Daniels' PR machine has dubbed the three- to five-minute spots "mini documentaries" and credits Napa-based filmmaker Bret Lyman - who snagged the Trophée Spécial for "Best Short Film" at the 2008 Oenovideo International Grape and Wine Film Festival in Gruissan, France - with imbuing them with his trademark saturated colors, lush cinematography and striking music.  Indeed, the films fairly sing with the sumptuous details of winery life and include such enticing images as sweeping shots of grand cru vineyards in Burgundy, behind-the-scenes looks at cellaring and tasting in Tokaj, and alluring sojourns into Champagne caves at Salon.  In all, it's a stellar collection of wine country imagery, all poised to engender some serious travel lust.
