Ordinarily, you might think of chocolate for the holidays as a stocking stuffer or just a candy dish treat. Don't get stuck in boring traditions. Chocolate should be on your list for a friend, workmate, sibling, aunt, uncle, cousin...you get the point.

Voges Haut-Chocolat offers decadently, rich chocolates, truffles, caramels, toffee, and even brownies, ice cream and cake for the sophisticated "I love chocolate" palate. But now that you've scampered across the website, in this menu and the the other, salivating at all this chocolaty goodness, what to get is the now burning question.
A box of chocolates would be nice. A two-tier exotic caramel collection better.

However, why not think about the (3) following recommendations:

vogesChoc2.jpgWine + Chocolate Gift Box
The presentation is esquisite. Each box contains a signature wine, 9 piece truffle collection with tasting notes and guide to tasting your own wine and chocolate event. Choose from Champagnes, Viognier, Syrah and many others.

Beer + Chocolate
This is a new addition to the new Voges line.  According to the website, it's an attempt to "lure the boys". Two collections of Rogue Stout are paired with Mo's Bacon Chocolate Bar or Caramel Marshmallows.

For those of you that just have money to spend and are chocolate and cheese addicts, this one is for you! At $295, the collection includes "5 cheeses, 28 chocolate truffles, 1 mini Red Fire Exotic Candy Bar, 1 mini Barcelona Bar, a Flying Bacon + Chocolate Pig, Armenian apricot preserves, Aboriginal Riberry confit, Australian akudjura (dried indigenous bush tomato), fermented black garlic, black pepper crackers, paper cheese markers. Top all this off with 5 Teppo Gushi (Japanese wooden knives) and a guidebook outlining cheese and chocolate tasting notes, fun paring suggestions, the history of cheese and everything you need to know to throw a smashing Cheese + Chocolate soirée."

If none of these seem like the gift for someone on your list, then get a lil something for yourself!  Happy gift hunting!
